Questions, answered
Do I need an API key or an account?
No. The map tiles come from OpenFreeMap, a free and open map service. There is nothing to sign up for.
Is it GDPR-friendly?
With the free version, the visitor’s browser loads the map tiles from OpenFreeMap. If you have no consent tool, switch on “Load maps only after a click” – then nothing is loaded until the visitor agrees. With Pro and your own map data, nothing is loaded from other servers at all. This is not legal advice.
Does it work with my page builder?
Yes. Use the “Map Studio” block in the block editor, or the shortcode in Elementor, Divi, widgets and classic themes.
What happens when Pro runs out?
Maps you made with Pro keep showing on your site. You just can’t create or edit Pro features any more, and you get no updates and support until you renew.
What does “Lifetime” mean?
Pay once, use it forever – including updates and support for as long as Map Studio is actively developed.
